Day Two in Izmir... Church and the Beach (we're having so much fun!)

Day two in Izmir and we visited a christian church and then took an afternoon sabbath at the beach. Fun (as expected) was had by all, and you can look forward to seeing posts from the students again after tomorrow's trip to Kusadesi.
The group in front of an Anglican church built by ex-pats which is now a Turkish Baptist church
Michelle, Aly and Amy at the church.
We thought we came to worship with Turkish Christians, but it turned out that their service wasn't starting until noon. Blessed with some musicians in the group (Rachel and Michael pictured here), we had our own impromptu service.
Dr. Yeatts preached on Revelation 5.
And a couple of Turkish brothers who had shown us around the church joined in as well. They sang in Turkish and we in English.
The entire group at Cesme beach, one of the beautiful beaches on the Turquoise coast.
The gentlemen in the group wanted their own picture.
